Mardi Gras Madness 5K/10K and Mini Madness 1K
Mardi Gras Madness is a family friendly run and walk event held in Valencia, CA on Sunday, February 28, 2027. The event is presented by local organizations and benefits JCI Santa Clarita and Students Off And Running, a program that provides free Los Angeles Marathon training for local youth ages 14 to 18 and is an official featured charity of the 2027 Los Angeles Marathon.

Participants will run a USATF certified, rolling circuit that includes scenic paseos, bridge overpasses, and sections along the South Fork River Trail. The 10K course contains a stretch on a dirt equestrian trail from Mile 3.25 to Mile 4.85. Event services include chip timing, custom finisher medals, marathon quality tech shirts, a Health and Fitness Expo, and a variety of onsite activities such as a beer garden, food vendors, costume contest, games, silent auction, and live entertainment.
Packet pickup is available the day before at Valencia Town Center location. A valid ID is required to receive the beer garden wristband. Onsite registration availability is not guaranteed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
