Red Rock Sunset Rumble
- 10k Rumble : 10 kilometer trail race with significant elevation change.
- Hiker's Delight : non timed 4.5 mile route with less vertical gain.
The event takes place on September 19, 2026 in Red Rock Canyon Park, Topanga, CA. The 10k course covers roughly 1,360 feet of vertical gain and loss and runs mostly on fireroads with about a half mile of singletrack. Terrain includes oak forest, chaparral, wildflowers, red sandstone cliffs and a seasonal creek. Two major climbs and a downhill finish are notable course features. Aid stations providing Skratch Hydration and water are located on the 10k course.
The Hiker's Delight is a non timed early start that accesses the same aid stations and event amenities while offering lower overall elevation gain of about 1,075 feet. All SoCalTrail races are cupless.
No onsite parking is allowed on race day. Free off site parking and shuttle service operate from Topanga Canyon Boulevard and Topanga School Road. The race site is approximately a 0.6 mile walk from the shuttle drop off.
Event amenities include a 21 plus beer garden, vegan friendly taco breakfast, sports massage by Vision for Enrichment, hand crafted finisher medals, free course photography, same day results, and professional medical support. The 10k features a $500 course record bonus and awards including age group prizes, overall podium places and a Local Legend award for Topanga residents.
