MammothMarch Minnesota
MammothMarch Minnesota is sold out; a waiting list is maintained and tickets may become available on a first-come, first-served basis. The event is set for October 17, 2026, at St. Croix State Park in Hinckley, Minnesota.
The event features a single-circuit loop of 20 miles that does not pass the same spot twice. The route includes an extended stretch along the St. Croix River and showcases fall colors and park scenery. Total elevation gain is around 400 ft. Terrain consists mainly of unpaved hiking trails, dirt trails, gravel roads, and forest floor.
Support on the course includes water stops and aid stations positioned roughly every five to seven miles. Aid stations provide toilets and a variety of refreshments such as water, energy drinks, electrolytes, fruit, cereal or protein bars, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. No official timekeeping is used; participants who complete the distance receive a finisher medal and a personalized certificate. Participants who leave the course receive a certificate indicating the mileage covered.
Small starting groups are used, with a limit of five hikers crossing the starting line together to create a more remote hiking experience. Complimentary parking is available on site. Merchandise ordered from the event store will be ready for pickup on event day, and an official online shop offers shipped items. Hiking Passes and stamping procedures are provided for participants.
