MacTuffX Peterborough is a functional fitness racing event held at the Embankment (PE1 5BW) on 11 July 2026. The event combines ten distinct exercise stations, called Xercises, with repeated short runs. Two distance formats are offered.

  • Classic: 10 x Xercises and 10 x 400m runs
  • 2X: 10 x Xercises and 10 x 800m runs

Competitors can enter in different competition formats: Solo, Doubles (two people sharing work), or Relay (five-person teams where each member completes two runs plus Xercises). Age restriction: all entrants must be 18 years or older on the day of the event.

Xercises use defined weight divisions for men and ladies and a LITE option is available for lower weights while participating alongside standard divisions. Trail runs nearby

Running festival at Grimsthorpe Castle Estate on 23 and 24 May 2026 offering 10, 40, 70 and 100 mile solo races and a 100 mile team relay. The marked 10 mile loop passes woodland, limestone tracks and the estate lake and includes free weeke..

A six hour lap based event from Braybrooke Taproom on well surfaced trails along the Griffin Trail and Brampton Valley Way, with free parking, onsite toilets and a taproom for post run refreshments.

A 46 mile (74 km) annual run or walk around Cambridgeshire that starts and finishes at RAF Wyton, visiting four former RAF Pathfinder Force airbases. Options include solo completion or team relay with eight checkpoints on the route.

Scenic 10 and 20 mile off road trail races around Fotheringhay on 13 June 2026, with camping available and marked, marshalled courses. Participants are asked to bring a cup or water bottle to support eco friendly practices.
