Fen Gallop takes place on Sunday, 5 July 2026 in Willingham, Cambridgeshire. The event starts and finishes at Willingham Recreation Ground, West Fen Road, Willingham, CB24 5LP. The course follows flat country roads, footpaths and bridleways in the local fens and uses a mixture of concrete, gravel and trails. Runners pass back through Willingham before reaching Over.

Races, entry and rules

The event offers the following race distances:

  • 10 km
  • 4 miles

The main races use chipped timing. A walkers entry is available for the 4-mile route; walkers are not chip-timed. The 10K minimum age is 15 years. The 4-mile minimum age is 11 years; children under 11 may run the 4-mile race only if accompanied by a parent or guardian. A disclaimer must be signed by a parent or guardian for all runners under 16 years.

Entries are limited to a maximum of 500 participants. Entries close on 29 June 2026. Entry prices listed for 2026 are: 10K £19.00; 4-mile over 16s £11.00; 4-mile under 16s £6.00; 4-mile walkers £5.00. Transfers or deferrals are available with at least one month notice before the event. All proceeds go to the Willingham School Association and other local charity groups.
