MacTuff Fife Spring 5k & 10k

MacTuff Fife Spring is an adult obstacle course event held at Knockhill Racing Circuit, Saline, near Dunfermline, Fife KY12 9TG. The route uses a mixture of natural and man made obstacles and is described as hilly, very muddy and very wet. The course includes hazards that require careful footing and attention to course markers.

All registration is online and in advance; there are no on the day entries. Every participant must have an individually signed waiver and hand it in at registration. Race packs and wristbands are collected on event day from the Race Registration Marquee at Knockhill. Wristbands give access to wave starts and are required to receive a finish medal.

Parking is free and accessed via the main gate. Nearest regular public transport is to Dunfermline and local buses are sporadic, so private transport or taxis are recommended. Event access on foot is required from parking to the start and finish area. Baggage storage is available and free but the organisers do not accept responsibility for loss or damage.

Facilities include portaloos, rudimentary indoor changing gazebos, cold water hose down taps and a food truck taking cash or card. Water stations are on course and at the finish. First aid cover is provided by an ambulance and trained staff. Participants are advised not to touch or rely on string and poles used as course markers and to follow marshal instructions. A 90K UTMB Index 100K race along the Pilgrim Way from North Queensferry to St Andrews Cathedral, with 1,200 m of climbing, a 15 hour limit and an age minimum of 20; field capped at 150 runners.
