Course and elevation

The 12K starts near the main pavilion and begins with about 0.4 mile on road before entering the blue-blazed single track. The course runs counter-clockwise, includes a grinding climb early on, a major descent just over 2 miles in, technical single-track sections, short road crossings, and a climb up Cobble Mountain a little before mile 5 with a western viewpoint. The finish is on grass near the pavilion. The 25K is two loops of the 12K plus a short out-and-back and has 3,500'+ of elevation. The 50K is a three-loop course that includes three ascents of Cobble Mountain and has over 7,000' of elevation.

Aid stations and rules

Aid stations provide water, electrolyte drink, and typical food items. The race is cupless; runners must carry their own hydration bottle, pack, or cup. One named aid station is at Weber Road, roughly halfway through the 12K loop. Additional aid is located near the start/finish at the end of each loop for 25K and 50K. Rules include no littering, nontransferable bibs, following course markings, headphone use discouraged, and no smoking or alcohol in the park.

Logistics

Race headquarters are at the pavilion on Macedonia Brook Rd. Parking is near the pavilion in gravel lots or grassy areas; participants are asked not to park on Macedonia Rd. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
