Course and support

The course is a roughly 1.5-mile singletrack loop on private property. Each lap includes about 300 feet of climbing and goes through boulder fields, sagebrush, and remnants of an avocado orchard. Runners repeat the same loop for the duration of their race and pass the aid station each lap.

There is one aid station stocked with electrolyte drink and snacks. Volunteers assist with parking and bib pickup on race morning. Parking is available on the driveway or along the road and is guided by volunteers. The event provides picnic and grilled food for participants and spectators during the day. There are no refunds, transfers, or deferrals. Registration opens October 31, 2025, and SURF membership is required; all races are listed at a price of $23.50 (including taxes and fees).
