  • 5K
  • 10 Mile
  • 20 Mile
  • 50K

A kids race is offered as part of the Woodland Speeders program; the course is a single-track trail of about 0.9 mile with minimal elevation gain. All finishers receive handmade finisher swag produced using solar power in Anacortes. Online registration closes the Friday before the race at noon. Youth participants (24 and under) receive a 20% discount.

Course and logistics

All race distances begin with a sustained climb up "the hill." The 10-mile course is a single loop of about 10.3 miles; the 20-mile and 50K courses repeat that 10-mile loop two and three times, respectively. Elevation gain is listed as approximately: 5K - 650 ft, 10M - 2,100 ft, 20M - 4,200 ft, 50K - 6,300 ft. The route includes creek crossings, rough rocky sections, slippery bridges, wet and muddy trails, and a short technical descent. Aid stations are available at measured mile points on the longer courses. Trails remain open to other users during the event. Due to limited parking, 5K and 10-mile runners park at Monroe High School and use a continuous shuttle to the start/finish area; 20-mile and 50K runners may park at the start/finish. Runners must carry a refillable container because the event is cupless. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
