Event overview
Loopy Looper is an ultra running event held August 1-2, 2026 at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken, New Jersey. The event program includes solo and 4-person relay formats for 12-hour and 24-hour durations, a 100 Miler event, and a single-night loop called the Glow Up Night Loop. Entry prices are listed per event on the organizer page.
Course and format
Runners use a paved loop of 3.75 miles around Cooper River Park. Partial laps are not counted. No new laps may be started within the final 30 minutes of any timed format, and all laps must be completed by the event cutoff. A fully stocked aid station and personal pit areas are available on course. The loop passes a Wawa store along the route.
For the 100 Miler event, runners must complete 21 laps (78.75 miles) by the 24-hour checkpoint to be allowed to continue. To be recorded as a finisher in that event, a runner must complete 27 loops of the course and cross the finish line for that final lap.
Relay teams consist of four runners, with a maximum of one runner from the team on the course at a time. Teams may divide mileage among members as they choose. As an exception, teams are allowed to run their final lap together, provided it is the team’s last lap of the day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
