Course and race logistics

The course is a paved 3.75 mile loop around Cooper River Park. The loop is mostly flat and runners complete multiple laps; the 101.25-mile distance requires 27 full laps. The event is cupless; runners should bring a reusable cup, bottle, or hydration pack. Aid is provided at the start/finish (food and hydration) and at a midpoint hydration station. Food options include made-to-order items, vegan choices, Tailwind, and Pickle Juice Sport; pizza is provided at night for 24-hour and 100-mile runners. Relay teams of four run in rotation with one runner on course at a time; teams may run their final lap together. Pacers are permitted with limits and must wear a pacer bib.
