The Loopy Looper takes place at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken, New Jersey on August 1-2, 2026. The event uses a paved loop of 3.75 miles around the park. The course includes a short section of rubber track and passes near the lake with views of the Philadelphia skyline.
Events include:
- 12-hour solo and 4-person relay
- 24-hour solo and 4-person relay
- 101.25 mile (27-lap) race
- Glow-Up Night Loop (single night loop)
Format, rules, and facilities
Runners complete as many full laps as they can within each race format. Partial laps are not counted and no new laps may be started within the final 30 minutes of a race. The 101.25 mile event requires completion of 27 full laps to be recorded as a finisher; runners must meet an intermediate lap requirement to continue. Pacers are allowed later in the event and must wear a pacer bib.
A stadium start/finish area offers a pit/drop zone with limits on tent size (no tents larger than 10x10) and no tent stakes or alcohol on site. Aid services include one food aid station and two hydration stations, cupless service (bring a reusable cup or bottle), ice availability, Tailwind and Pickle Juice Sport, vegan options, and pizza for 24-hour and 100-mile entrants overnight. Swag includes finisher awards, shirts for many categories, a buckle for 100-mile finishers, skeleton runner charms for loop milestones, and a glow-in-the-dark medal plus necklaces for the Glow-Up Loop.
