The Run the Vineyards - William Heritage Labor Day event includes three races: a 5K Run/Walk, a 1 Mile Walk, and a 1 Mile Kids Run. It takes place at the William Heritage Winery in Mullica Hill, New Jersey.
Race Courses
The main event is a 5K course described as a scenic trail that runs mainly on vineyard paths with rolling hills. The 1 Mile course is used for both the Kids Run and the Walk events.
Awards and Timing
The 5K and the Kids 1 Mile races are chip-timed, with instant results available. Awards are given for top finishers. For the 5K, awards are presented to the top three male and female overall winners, as well as per age group. For the 1 Mile Kids Race, awards are given to the top three male and female winners in several age categories.
Included Items and Amenities
Registration includes a custom tech shirt, with specific deadlines to guarantee sizing and style. All participants aged 21 and over in the 5K and 1 Mile Walk receive a complimentary glass of wine and a stemless wine glass. A food truck will be present on-site, and there will be a live musician performing after the race. Water and bananas are available at the finish line, and there is a water station on the course.
Participation Notes
Walkers are welcome in the 5K. An unregistered parent or guardian may accompany a child on the 1 Mile course only. The event is held rain or shine, with no refunds or deferrals. Packet pickup is on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
