Live Oak Odyssey Trail Runs
Live Oak Odyssey is a fixed time trail running event held at O'Neill Regional Park in Trabuco Canyon, California on Saturday, November 14, 2026. The event uses a looped course of approximately 2.75 miles with roughly 500 feet of elevation gain per loop. The route includes uphills, downhills, single track and double track, and is marked with pink ribbons.

The park is heavily wooded with coast live oak and sycamore trees. Surrounding hillsides feature cactus, wild buckwheat, sagebrush and chaparral including scrub oak, buckthorn and mountain mahogany. A single main aid station at the start/finish supplies sweet and salty snacks, PB&J, fresh fruit, potatoes, Coke, ginger ale, hydration and electrolytes from Tailwind, GU salt capsules and other support items. Crews may use the main aid station area but must remain at their vehicles and are asked not to eat from aid station tables.
Logistics note: parking at the park requires a $5 fee; OC Parks passes are not valid. Drop bags are provided near the aid station. Race rules require completion of a full loop for it to count, and pacers and pets are not allowed. Awards include a finisher medal, event swag and top overall prizes for male and female finishers.
