Little Duck 50k
The Little Duck 50k is a trail running event held at the East Windham Conservation Area in Windham, ME. The course uses the Purple, Red, and Blue trails, with parking and the start/finish located at the EWCA parking lot.
- 50k: five 6.5-mile loops (32.5 miles total)
- 10k: one loop
Each loop includes roughly 900 to 1,000 feet of elevation gain. The five-loop course routes runners from the Purple trail to the Red and Blue trails and returns to the EWCA parking area. There are two aid stations per loop; one aid station is located at the Lowell Preserve parking lot and the other at the EWCA start/finish. Stations provide snacks, water, and electrolyte drinks.
Volunteers keep track of runner progress and the event follows a "no runner left behind" policy; organizers remain until the final finisher crosses the line. Runners who complete the course receive a cotton Hanes t-shirt. The event lists entry fees in a range from $71.56 to $92.81 USD, with offers noted beginning March 2, 2026.
