Liberty Park Endurance Runs
The Liberty Park Endurance Runs are fixed-time loop races held on the paved multi-use path around Liberty Park in Salt Lake City. Runners complete as many full laps as they can within their chosen time limit. Laps are approximately 1.4 miles long and are run in a counterclockwise direction only.
Event choices include:
- 3 hour fixed time event
- 6 hour fixed time event
- 12 hour individual event
- 12 hour relay event, new for 2026
One aid station on course provides sweet and salty snacks and liquids each lap, with on course hydration provided by Tailwind Nutrition. Participants may set up a personal area to access additional supplies. This is a cupless event, so participants must bring their own cup or water bottle.
Rules state that only full laps count toward totals and that any course cutting, littering, or disrespect can lead to disqualification. Relay teams may include up to four people and must make transitions in the start line area. Teams receive one timing device to record laps.
Proceeds support the Salt Lake City Track Club, a volunteer run nonprofit that organizes local running activities and races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
