Le Trail du Mont Owl's Head

Le Trail du Mont Owl's Head takes place at Owl’s Head in Mansonville on Saturday June 20, 2026. Starts and finishes are located at the ski resort; free parking is available. Three dollars from each registration will be donated to the Fondation Christian Vachon.

Four marked, secured and timed courses are offered. All courses include kilometer markers and water points; aid stations are provided for the 5 km, 10 km and 21 km. The participant guide will be available two weeks before the event.

Distances offered

  • 1 km : wide flat loop, positive elevation 48 m.
  • 5 km : 4.9 km, positive elevation 239 m, walking allowed.
  • 10 km : 9.8 km, positive elevation 700 m, race only.
  • 21 km : 19.8 km, positive elevation 1 424 m, water self-sufficiency required.

Snacks are provided for all participants and a souvenir shop will be on site. There will be male and female podiums with medals for each distance except the 1 km where all participants receive a medal. No overall podium and no prize money will be awarded. The STQ championship awards points for the 10 km and 21 km races. Registration fees vary by distance and passes are available with limited quantities. Ultra Obscura is a multi loop ultramarathon at Mont Sutton on June 13 and 14 2026. Multiple distances and an 84 km relay on technical trails put emphasis on race strategy and resource management.

Trail at Parc national du Mont-Orford on 21 June 2026 offering distances from 2 km to 60 km, with routes through forest, ski tracks, ponds and an ascent of Mont Chauve.

A Fourth of July run/walk in Newport and Derby, VT, on gravel paths and wooded trails with distances from 2 miles to a half marathon; a portion of fees supports NAMI Vermont and ice cream follows the event.

A 24 hour event on a 5.2 km loop at Parc des Sommets Bromont offering a competitive Ultra format and a free pace Solidaire option, with 1 dollar per loop donated to L’Effet BU.
