Le Trail du Mont Owl's Head

Le Trail du Mont Owl's Head takes place in Mansonville at the Owl's Head ski area on Saturday, June 20, 2026. For each registration, 3$ will be given to the Fondation Christian Vachon. The registration deadline is June 18 at midnight. Free parking is available on site.

Available distances are:

  • 1 km - 48 m, for children (12 and under)
  • 4.9 km - 239 m, walking allowed, 6 years and older
  • 9.8 km - 700 m, race only, 16 years and older
  • 19.8 km - 1424 m, race only, 18 years and older, water autonomy required

All courses are marked, secured and timed. Water points are provided on all distances; aid stations are present on the 5 km, 10 km and 21 km courses. Kilometer markers are installed along the routes. The participant guide will be available two weeks before the event.

On-site services include a snack for participants, a souvenir shop, changing rooms and toilets. There will be male and female podiums with medals for each distance except the 1 km, for which all participants receive a medal. No overall podium and no prize money will be awarded. A Vermont trail event with multiple distances from 5k to a hilly half marathon, run on dirt roads and private trails, featuring a farm to table post race meal and an evening barn dance with a local band.
