Backyard Ultra Solidaire : Parc des Sommets Bromont

Backyard Ultra Solidaire takes place on July 11 and 12, 2026 at Parc des Sommets Bromont, 44 Chemin des Carrières, Bromont QC. The event uses a single loop of 5.2 km with 133 m of ascent, repeated over a 24 hour period. Two participation formats are available: the "U"ltra format and the "S"olidaire format.

The "U"ltra format focuses on individual performance. Each loop must be completed in under one hour and a horn signals departures each hour. Missing a departure, skipping a loop, or exceeding the time ends a participant’s run in the "U" format. The last runner remaining wins; if several finish the final loop, the fastest on that loop is ranked first. Recording each loop is mandatory for ranking.

The "S"olidaire format allows participants to complete loops at their own pace. Departures follow the same hourly signal but pauses do not cause elimination; each loop is recorded and recognized. This format is oriented toward collective participation and supporting causes.

Registration fee is $45 and includes bib, parking, camping facilities, feed provided by Xact Nutrition during the 24 hours, park access and promotional items. Minimum age to participate is 15. A liability waiver and medical care terms apply; participation implies acceptance of image use and responsibility clauses. One dollar per loop run will be donated to L’Effet BU to support partner causes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
