Cirque Series at Jay Peak

The Cirque Series event at Jay Peak takes place on 09/26/2026 at 830 Jay Peak Rd, Jay, VT. The primary race covers 7.1 miles and features approximately 3,044 feet of vertical gain. The event includes Sport, Expert and Pro competition divisions, plus a Volunteer category.

Race entry is limited to 500 participants. Registration for the divisions opens 02/25/2026 and closes 09/26/2026; published entry fees list $99 for competition divisions and $0 for volunteers. Timing uses a disposable chip attached to the back of the bib; participants may dispose of chip and bib after the race. Skratch hydration is provided at an aid station and at the finish area.

Prizes are awarded at the end of each race by division. First-place prizes listed for each division include $300 in gear for Sport, $400 in gear for Expert, and $1,000 cash for Pro. Additional podium prizes and awards are distributed; special recognitions include the Grom Award for the youngest competitor, the OG Award for the wisest competitor, the Lexie Award as an unofficial MVP, and a Middle of the Pack Award.

Racers earn points toward the 2026 season standings. Points for each race are awarded to the top 20 finishers with 1st = 50, 2nd = 40, 3rd = 36, 4th = 34, 5th = 32, 6th = 30, 7th = 28, 8th = 26, 9th = 24, 10th = 22, 11th = 20, 12th = 18, 13th = 16, 14th = 14, 15th = 12, 16th = 10, 17th = 8, 18th = 6, 19th = 4, 20th = 2.
