The Laurel Highlands Ultra takes place in Ohiopyle, PA, within Laurel Ridge State Park. The event includes several point to point races along the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail, with courses ending near Rt 56 in Seward for the longest distance and at the 31 mile point near Route 31 for the 50K.

The 70.5 mile race will be held for the forty-seventh consecutive year and the 50K for the twenty-first year. Entry limits are specified for 2026: the 70 mile individual field is set at 210 spots, allocated in three registration groups of 70; the 50K field is set at 250 spots. Relay fields include 15 team spots for the 70 mile relay and 15 team spots for the 50K relay. Entry counts may change based on race director concerns or deferral situations such as COVID, smoke, or flooding. Registrations open in stages and remain open until filled; registration closes June 6, 2026.
