The Laurel Highlands Ultra is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026, in Ohiopyle, PA, at Laurel Ridge State Park. The event includes multiple point-to-point races that start in Ohiopyle and follow the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail. The 70.5 mile race and 70.5 mile relay run the full length of the trail to Route 56 in Seward, PA. The 50K races finish near the 31 mile point by the intersection of Route 31. The 2026 running is the 47th edition of the 70.5 mile race and the 21st edition of the 50K.

The 70 mile individual race has 210 spots available, offered as three registration opportunities of 70 spots each. The 50K has 250 spots. The 70 Mile Relay and the 50K Relay each have 15 team spots. Entry numbers may change based on race director concerns or deferrals (examples given: covid, smoke, flooding). Registration closes on June 6, 2026. The event includes an acknowledgement of the original Indigenous homelands of the Monongahela, Shawnee and other nations and states a welcome to participants of all backgrounds.
