The Last Stand Army Backyard Ultra, held in Midlothian, Virginia, is a unique endurance event honoring the 250th birthday of the U.S. Army. Participants run a 4.167-mile loop every hour, on the hour, with only one hour to complete each lap.

The race continues until a single runner remains, testing mental and physical stamina, strategy, and perseverance. For those not ready for the full challenge, an Ultra Mini option allows runners to choose their number of loops. The event fosters camaraderie among ultra-runners and supporters, set against the backdrop of the Virginia sky.
