The 10-mile course runs along exterior park trails, featuring a mix of terrain. This includes flat, fast sections along the James River, climbs into open fields, and shaded singletrack forest trails that pass historic cabin ruins.

Event Details

The event is described as a celebration of Virginia's native pawpaw fruit. A festival will feature live music, a beer truck, and other events. All participants registered by September 1 will receive a gender-specific short sleeve shirt. Food from the Cafe at Maidens will be available for purchase after the event.

The event is a benefit for the Friends of Powhatan State Park, a local volunteer organization. Part of the proceeds support the group.
