This includes flat, fast sections along the James River, climbs into open fields, and shaded singletrack forest trails that pass historic cabin ruins.
Event Details
The event is described as a celebration of Virginia's native pawpaw fruit. A festival will feature live music, a beer truck, and other events. All participants registered by September 1 will receive a gender-specific short sleeve shirt. Food from the Cafe at Maidens will be available for purchase after the event.

The event is a benefit for the Friends of Powhatan State Park, a local volunteer organization. Part of the proceeds support the group.
