Logistics, safety and facilities

Registration and baggage storage are provided in the main marquee. Parking at King George V Fields is cash only; a fee of £5 per car is stated (TBC). Organisers arranged shuttle buses from Penrith to Glenridding for afternoon 15k competitors. A recommended kit list may be made compulsory in poor weather and includes a hat, gloves, waterproof jacket and over-trousers or running tights. Event medics and marshals will be on site.
