The Lakeland Five Passes Ultra is a challenging 33-mile mountain running event held in the Lake District, starting and finishing in the village of Grasmere. Featuring 10,000 feet of ascent, the course includes five demanding passes and multiple summits such as Loughrigg, Wansfell, Harter Fell, and Red Screes. Runners face steep climbs, technical scrambles, and fast descents through stunning landscapes, including Ambleside, Troutbeck, and Kentmere.
The race has a 14-hour cut-off and requires a high fitness level, with mandatory safety kit checks.
