The Guided Lairig Ghru Crossing is a 32km trail running event through the historic high mountain pass in Scotland, taking participants across remote and rugged terrain. Led by experienced guides, the event includes a transfer from Aviemore to the Linn of Dee, where runners begin their journey northward through the challenging landscape, which features rocky trails and boulder fields. Suitable for experienced trail runners with a good level of fitness, the event offers a unique opportunity to explore one of the UK's most inaccessible trails.

A 60 km mountain ultra at Mar Lodge in the Cairngorms National Park on 13 June 2026 with 1006 m ascent. A 48 km short course option is available and entries are limited.

A 100 mile ultra starting and finishing in Forres, the Moray Way 100 follows the Moray Coastal Trail, Speyside Way and Dava Way through beaches, forests and clifftop paths. Entries are limited and the race has a 30 hour cutoff.

A team relay around the full Moray Way route on Saturday 27 June 2026, covering approximately 100 miles in 12 sections. Teams of up to four share the legs, there is a 24 hour cutoff and a minimum per runner distance of 18 km.

A Category C long hill race of 43 km along the historic Lairig Ghru drove road, rising to 835 m between Braemar and Aviemore. Online entry is £25 and net proceeds support the Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team.
