La Montée des Sommets GBV 2026
La Montée des Sommets GBV is a fundraising hike taking place on 26 September 2026 at Mont Sainte Anne in Beaupré. The event benefits the Fondation pour la protection de la jeunesse de Québec, which supports children and youth who have received services from the DPJ and who have faced abuse, neglect, or mental health challenges.
Participants are invited to climb the La Pichard trail, which features 625 meters of elevation gain, and to repeat the ascent as many times as they wish. The event includes a sporting component alongside a family area on site.
Onsite offerings include mountain and summit entertainment, snacks, a family zone with candy, inflatable games and face painting, live musical performances, and a medal presentation. The format emphasizes communal hiking and fundraising rather than strictly timed races.
GBV Avocats serves as the main partner for a tenth year, and partner involvement has helped raise more than one million dollars for children and youth in the region.
