Défi Gendarme de fer is a trail and obstacle race presented in collaboration with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The event takes place in Québec on September 26, 2026 and in Montreal on October 17, 2026. The event raises funds for the Foundation for Pediatric Research to support child health research.

The course is based on police training and offers multiple distances and participation formats. Key features include individual chip timing, solo and team categories, and team timing calculated as the average of team members' times. The elite wave includes a separate start, a professional race photo for each elite runner, and competition that involves athletes from GTI, the RCMP and Movex Training.

A 5K obstacle run with 25 obstacles and 2.5 million cubic feet of foam at Centre De Ski Le Relais in Lac-Beauport on August 8, 2026. The festival includes a kids zone, a live DJ, food vendors and a licensed beer garden.
