Défi des 4 Versants takes place on September 19, 2026 in Saint-Elzéar. Now in its 13th edition, the event runs across a rural, hilly landscape and offers multiple courses on wooded trails, fields, maple stands and orchards.

- 28 km
- Team challenge (about 5.7 km for teams of 3 or 4; team ranking by average of three best times)
Routes are mostly mixed-surface and roughly 85% on uneven terrain, with possible roots, tall or wet grass and other ground obstacles. Approximate elevation changes are provided for several distances: 5.5 km ±71 m, 12.5 km ±191 m, 17.5 km ±259 m and 28 km ±850 m. The 1 km and 2 km options are maintained for children and families. The event is officially sanctioned by Athlétisme Québec and is classified as a trail race because of its varied surfaces.
Registrations completed before August 31 may include a complimentary event shirt depending on the chosen race. Medals are awarded to top finishers by age category for most events. If courses are deemed unsafe or impracticable, organizers may cancel one or more races; in such cases no refunds are available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
