LifeWise L-B Family 5K Trail Run/Walk
The event includes a Family 5K trail run and walk plus a 1 mile kids fun run for ages 12 and under. The route is new for this year and runs across the Liberty-Benton, Gateway, and Oakwoods campuses, with start and finish at the Liberty-Benton Track.
Distances:
- 5K Family Trail Run/Walk - timed race with age group awards
- 1 Mile Kids Fun Run - for ages 12 and under
The 5K will be timed and awards will be presented for overall top male and female and for male and female in the following age groups: 60+, 50-59, 40-49, 30-39, 20-29, 16-19, 12-15, and 11 and under. The kids run will recognize the top 20 finishers with an ice cream coupon and will provide a participation medal for all entrants.
Registration opens February 22 and closes May 30. Fees are listed by age: teen and adult ages 13 and up pay $30, youth ages 5 to 12 pay $15. A t-shirt is included if registration is completed by May 13; younger children may participate for free but will not receive a t-shirt.
Pets are welcome on the route but participants must clean up after them. The trail surface may include mud or water in places. A coffee truck will be on site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
