Crew access is allowed in designated areas just prior to completing the loop. Dogs are permitted in the parking lot but are not allowed on the course. Pacers are not allowed. Drop bags may be used and campers may be kept in the parking lot.
Chip timing is used and the race bib contains the timing chip. Runners must wear the bib on the front and keep the chip intact and visible. Remove the bib after finishing to avoid recording extra laps. All runners under 18 must have a parent or guardian either running or at the event at all times.
Swag and awards include a long sleeve tech t shirt for those registered by October 23, 2026, a belt buckle finisher award for all participants, distance specific magnetic banners for certain distances, top three awards in each event, and a doubler award for completing this event and the Heat Wave event. Registration closes Fri, Nov 6 at 11:59PM CT.
If weather becomes dangerous, participants will be directed to shelter while the clock continues and the event will resume when conditions allow. Refunds are not offered but entries may be deferred one time to next year's race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
