Course and location

The race is a 100% single and double track trail loop through Kuehn Conservation Park, located at 32828 Houston Trail, Earlham, IA 50072. The course runs along prairie trails in upland areas and through woods and prairies in the Raccoon River bottom within the park. Kuehn Conservation was established in 1982 by the Dallas County Conservation Board and now includes over 1,000 acres along the Raccoon River. Trails in the park pass through native and restored prairie, woodland, and floodplain areas. Archaeological evidence indicates the area has been used by humans for thousands of years, including Woodland and Great Oasis traditions.
