Krug Castle Challenge

Krug Castle Challenge is a castle-themed running event held at Krug Park in Saint Joseph, Missouri. The weekend offers four options: the Measly Mile, Krug Castle Kinda 5k (three loops = about 4.08 miles), Krug Castle 10K, and the full Krug Castle Challenge—Go all the way. The course loops the park with 22-minute laps and time resets for the next lap.
A Beer Mile Dash occurs at River Bluff Brewing (21+ only) on Oct 25. Medals are awarded for the 5k and 10k, with a separate Challenge Medal for distances beyond 10k; shorter events are not timed. Proceeds benefit St.
Jude (80%) and Knot-4-Profit (20%), and costumes are encouraged. Winners are crowned as royalty at the end. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
