KNC9 - Maidstone East Street O (Thursday 4th December)

KNC9 at Maidstone East is a street orienteering night score event using MapRun. The event is a 60 minute score course with 30 controls. Controls numbered in the 10s are worth 10 points, controls in the 20s are worth 20 points, and controls in the 30s are worth 30 points. There is a late return penalty of 10 points per minute, or part minute, over the 60 minute allowance.

Entry, location and other information

Registration is online in advance only; entries close at 16:00 on 4 December. The event has an entry limit of 35. Parking is on-street on Marston Drive, Maidstone, ME14 5NQ in the area of Matfield Crescent; participants are asked to park considerately. An après-O is planned at Newnham Court Inn, ME14 5LH; food must be pre-ordered by 18:00 on Wednesday 3 December.

Trail runs nearby

Join a scenic 10 km loop around Rye Harbour Nature Reserve on 7 December 2025, mostly on trails and fully marshalled. Limited to 70 runners, the Winchelsea event finishes with tea and cake at the community centre.
