Event Overview

This event is the fourth race in a trail running series through parks in Louisville. It takes place at Jefferson Memorial Forest in Fairdale, Kentucky.

Course Information

The main in-person event is an eight-mile trail run. Participants start at Horine Reservation. The course winds through the Red and Orange Trails, with a section heading toward the Welcome Center and back. A five-mile in-person option is also available. The event is cupless, meaning runners must bring their own water bottle or hydration system.

Event Details

Packet pickup is on-site near the parking lot before the race start. Awards are given for Overall Male and Female. Parking at Horine Reservation is limited, and carpooling is encouraged. Restrooms are available at the start/finish area, with additional portable units located nearby. Runners who complete three out of the four races in the Kentucky Cryptid Series, either in-person or virtually, earn a special Survivor Medal and Shirt.
