Kent Backyard Ultra - Bedgebury

Bedgebury Forest, United Kingdom • 16 Jul 2027

Kent Backyard Ultra at Bedgebury

The event is organised by Hellfire events and is scheduled to take place at Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest, with the race area based at the Walled Garden. The route runs through the National Pinetum, past lakes, and along forest trails.

The core format asks competitors to run a repeated loop of 4.167-mile every hour. Runners must complete each loop within 60 minutes to remain in the event; failing to finish before the bell results in elimination. The competition continues until only one runner remains and is declared the winner. An alternative option is a 7 hour challenge for those not attempting the full last person standing format.

The event is set across Friday 16 July to Sunday 18 July 2027. Advance booking is essential. Entry fees are listed in ranges: Backyard Ultra from £123 to £125, and the 7 hour challenge from £78 to £80.

Location details include Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest, Lady Oak Lane, Goudhurst TN17 2SJ. The event is presented as an offsite forest event and routes make use of the National Pinetum and surrounding woodland features. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
