Kedumba Half Marathon

The Kedumba Half Marathon is a Running Wild Trail Association event near Wentworth Falls on 14 February 2027. It is a marked out-and-back trail race run from the end of Tablelands Road, close to the old Queen Victoria Hospital on Kings Tableland Road.

Distances

  • 21 km - down Kedumba firetrail to the valley, river crossing then return.
  • 10 km - out-and-back on Kedumba firetrail, turn at 5 km.

The 21 km course includes substantial elevation gain and varied terrain, with the course listing +823 m for 21 km and +395 m for 10 km. Runners descend on the firetrail, cross the river in the valley on the half marathon route, then retrace the same route to climb back to the start. The course follows a single trail with no turns onto other tracks and is marked with marshals at key points.

Aid and logistics include two aid stations (around 5 km and 10.5 km) providing water, electrolyte, fruit and lollies. There are no cups at aid stations; runners must carry at least 500 mL of water from the start and failure to carry water will result in no official result. Portaloos are at the start/finish area. Parking is available at the intersection of Tableland Road and Kings Tableland Road. There are no on-the-day entries and events have competitor limits. Headphones are not permitted on course; walking poles are allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
