Johnnycake Jolt Series

The Johnnycake Jolt Series is a four-week series of trail runs. It takes place in the Pickall Area of Patapsco Valley State Park in Windsor Mill, Maryland.

Events

The events are scheduled for consecutive Wednesdays from May 6 to May 27, 2026. The event options are:

  • A single 10 km trail run.
  • A full series registration for all four runs.

The series is organized by a group of park stewards supporting Patapsco Valley State Park. The event timing uses "running time."

Sponsors include Patapsco Heritage Greenway, Scittinos Pizza, Manor Hill Brewing, and White Oak Running Company. Members of the Friends of Patapsco Valley State Park receive a discount on the full series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Super Bowl Trail Race

Parkville

Run 7 miles of scenic trails at Cromwell Valley Park. Enjoy rolling hills, single-track paths, and a fast downhill finish. Proceeds support the park and therapeutic programs for veterans.
