Overview

The John Bryan Trail Race takes place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at John Bryan State Park (Lower Shelter House) in Yellow Springs, OH. The event is organized by Wolf Pack and is permitted under special use authorization from John Bryan State Park. The park features a limestone gorge that is a National Natural Landmark and provides trail views.

Courses and logistics

All races start and finish at the Lower Stone Shelter. Course formats and elevation gains: the 1/2 Marathon is two loops with 750 ft total elevation gain; the 10K is one loop with 370 ft gain; the 5K is one loop with 180 ft gain. The 20K Relay uses the 5K loop; elevation gain per loop is 180 ft. GPX maps are provided for the courses.

The event is on trail and mixed terrain. The course will be marked with color-coded flags, cones, and arrows. There is one water station on the 1/2 Marathon and 10K route, plus aid station support at the Start/Finish before the second half marathon loop.
