JBLM Down and Dirty Trail Run

The event takes place on Saturday, 18 July 2026 at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, with activities centered near Soldiers Field House and nearby base facilities. The course is approximately 3 miles and includes a series of obstacles that participants must navigate by going through, over, or under them.

Waves of participants are released in groups of 25 every five minutes; late arrivals are asked to join the next available wave. The event is limited to the first 1,500 registrants. Online registration closes on 15 July 2026.

Entry fees are tiered by military affiliation and age: Military affiliated entrants pay $40 for 18 and older and $20 for 17 and under; nonmilitary affiliated entrants pay $50 for 18 and older and $25 for 17 and under. Participants who register by 5 July 2026 are guaranteed an event t-shirt at packet pick up.

Packet pick-up occurs on the days before and on the event at Soldiers Field House and at on-site race-day locations. Race packets include an event t-shirt, a custom medal, a race bib, and a ticket for a post-race beverage. After the run, music and a beverage (redeemable with the ticket) are provided.
