Freedom Ultra Festival

The Freedom Ultra Festival is a multi-day ultrarunning event held on private Kearin Family Farm in Bonney Lake, WA with portions of the course on an adjacent trail system. All events use a looped 3.1 mile course (approximately 5 km per lap) with a single central aid station and Race HQ that keeps runners close to gear and crew.

Around 50 percent of the course surface is a mix of gravel, dirt, and grass, while the other 50 percent follows a paved trail system. Free camping is available starting the day before the event and continuing through the end of the event. The looped format is intended to support self-supported approaches as well as crewed support, and it allows runners to return frequently to Race HQ.

The 200 mile event allows 96 hours for completion and does not require qualification to enter. The 100 mile event and several timed events are also listed with no qualification required. Events are organized by Freedom Ultra Runners and take place over a long weekend on Labor Day.
