Freedom Ultra Festival

Freedom Ultra Festival takes place September 4–8, 2026 on the private Kearin Family Farm near Bonney Lake, WA, with portions of the course on an adjacent trail system. The event uses a 3.1 mile looped course; runners complete laps until they finish their chosen event or withdraw. The course runs close to a single central Race HQ and aid station, which keeps gear and crew access simple.

Around half of the loop is gravel, dirt, and grass while the other half is a paved trail. Free camping is available on site beginning the day before the event and continuing through the end of the festival. Some events list no qualification requirement and the 200 mile event allows 96 hours for completion.

Distances and formats include:

  • 200 Mile, 5,231 ft total elevation
  • 100 Mile, 2,615 ft total elevation
  • 100K, 1,621 ft total elevation
  • 50 Mile, 1,307 ft total elevation
  • 50K, 810 ft total elevation
  • 24 Hour timed event
  • 12 Hour timed event
  • 6 Hour timed event

The looped layout supports both self-supported and crewed strategies by keeping runners close to aid and camping. Registration closes Tue, Sep 1 at 11:59 PM PT. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
