Freedom Ultra Festival

Freedom Ultra Festival takes place Labor Day weekend, September 4 to 8, 2026, at the private Kearin Family Farm near 11315 Angeline Rd E, Bonney Lake, Washington. The festival uses a looped 3.1 mile course that keeps runners close to a single central aid station and Race HQ. Runners complete laps on the 3.1 mile loop until they finish or withdraw.

Course surfaces are roughly half paved trail and half a mix of gravel, dirt, and grass. Free camping is available starting the day before the event and continuing through the event. The layout supports both self-supported efforts and crewed support by keeping gear and crew close to the course.

Multiple race formats are offered, with listed elevation gains and a time limit for the longest event. Several events do not require qualifying entries, including the 200 mile, 100 mile, 24 hour, and 12 hour races.

Distances and key facts:

  • 200 Mile: 5,231 feet elevation gain, 96 hour time limit
  • 100 Mile: 2,615 feet elevation gain
  • 100K: 1,621 feet elevation gain
  • 50 Mile: 1,307 feet elevation gain
  • 50K: 810 feet elevation gain
  • 24 Hour: timed 24 hour event
  • 12 Hour: timed 12 hour event

The event is presented as a concentrated multi-day festival with a central aid setup and short loop laps that simplify logistics for runners and crews. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
