Freedom Ultra Festival

Freedom Ultra Festival is scheduled for Labor Day weekend 2026 at the private Kearin Family Farm in Bonney Lake, Washington, with portions of the course on an adjacent trail system. The event uses a 3.1 mile loop; participants run repeated laps until they finish or withdraw. The looped format keeps runners close to a single central aid station and Race HQ, which simplifies crew access and gear management.

About half of the loop surface is a mix of gravel, dirt, and grass, and about half is on a paved trail system. Free camping is available from the day before the event through the end of the event, with camping adjacent to the course. Several event descriptions state no qualification requirement for specific races and note that the course supports both self-supported efforts and crewed approaches.

Individual race formats include distance events and timed events. The 200 mile event has a stated total elevation gain of 5,231 feet and a 96 hour completion window. Other races emphasize a low-elevation, highly runnable profile and centralized logistics to reduce the need for moving between multiple aid stations.
