White River 50M/50K/25K
The event takes place July 25, 2026 in Greenwater, WA, with the start and finish at Ranger Creek Campground (Buck Creek Recreation Area). The races run on mostly single track trail, forest service roads and dirt tracks in northwest forest terrain with ridge tops and river crossings. The course descriptions note technical footing with rocks and roots on some sections and long climbs and descents.
Distances:
- 50 Mile: 10,200 ft gain and loss, 6 aid stations, 14.5+ hour cutoff
- 50K: 5,900 ft gain and loss, 3 aid stations, 12+ hour cutoff
- 25K: 3,700 ft gain and loss, 1 aid station, 7+ hour cutoff
The 50K follows the 50 Mile route for about the first half before returning to the finish. The 25K follows the same initial route to the Palisades and then returns on the Ranger Creek Trail. GPX files and printable maps are provided for each distance.
Aid stations are staffed and stocked with water, electrolyte drink, basic food, GU gels, first aid supplies and menstrual products. Drop bags are allowed at designated aid stations; crew access is limited and permitted only at Buck and Skookum for the longer courses. The race operates cup less to reduce waste so runners should plan to use a personal cup, bottle or hydration pack.
Camping is available at the start/finish campground; primitive forest camping is first come first served and a parking pass is required for vehicles. Race rules include mandatory cutoffs, single earbud policy, no pacers, and local regulations compliance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
