White River 50M/50K/25K

The White River event is a trail running race near Greenwater, WA, set in the shadow of Mt Rainier with the start and finish at Ranger Creek Campground. The course travels ridge tops, northwest forest and mostly single track trail with substantial climbs and long descents.

Distances:

  • 50 Mile: 10,200 ft gain, 6 aid stations
  • 50K: 5,900 ft gain, 3 aid stations
  • 25K: 3,700 ft gain, 1 aid station

The 50K follows the 50M route for roughly the first half before returning to the finish. The 25K follows the shared route to the Palisades then takes Ranger Creek Trail back to the start. The 50M second half includes the Sun Top climb and a long descent, finishing with several miles of technical, rooty and rocky single track along old growth forest.

Support details include drop bags at most full service aid stations, specific crew access limitations, and a cup less policy that asks runners to carry their own cup, bottle or hydration pack. GPX files, course maps and elevation profiles are provided. Primitive camping is available at Ranger Creek Campground for participants and a parking pass is required for vehicles.
