The Isel Cross Race, organized by Derwent Athletic Club, takes place on April 19, 2025, starting at Cockermouth School in Great Britain. The course features a challenging route that begins with three miles on undulating roads, followed by a climb through Setmurthy Woods, and concludes with a downhill return to the school. Participants aged 15 and older are welcome, and every finisher will receive an Easter Egg. The event will be chip-timed, with live results available online. Join Lakeland Paws Grizedale Growl on 7 December 2025 for scenic forest runs with views over Coniston Water. Chip timed 5K and 10K loops with individual starts make this a relaxed dog friendly event for runners with or without dogs.
