Ironwood Challenge

The Ironwood Challenge, organized by Nailsea Running Club, is a trail race near Long Ashton, North Somerset. The six-mile course runs through woodland, fields and forest, with sections that are often muddy. It is fully marked and marshalled, and chip timing is included for the first year.

Off-road shoes are advised. Facilities include free parking, baggage store, first aid, and free cake, tea and coffee, with showers and toilets on site. Entry is £20, with a 250-runner limit and minimum age 18; entries may be transferred but refunds are not offered.
