Intergalactic - Hurn Forest
'Intergalactic' is a trail event set in Hurn Forest with a Beastie Boys and space theme. Participants receive a themed metal medal and can enjoy space inspired snacks at the Run DMC aid station. A themed playlist is provided for atmosphere.
The course is an out and back that follows the main forest track. Participants may choose their own distance, from 5K to ultra marathon. Laps are 5.3 km / 3.28 miles and all finishers of one lap or more receive a medal.

The track is hardstanding and well maintained; trail shoes are recommended but not essential. There will be an aid and drinks station at the start/finish of each lap offering savoury and sweet items. An area is provided to leave personal belongings. Participants should bring their own cups as plastic cups are not provided. Toilets are available at the cricket club. Number pick-up takes place on the day at race registration.
Twenty percent of entry costs will be donated to Forestry England to support forest and trail maintenance. The event is licensed by the TRA and will be run under UKA rules; distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
