Only major junctions will be marked along the route. GPS devices are not allowed. The event uses Mandatory Kit Level B Standard. Mandatory kit includes a waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, a charged mobile phone with an emergency number stored, and a foil blanket, bivvy bag or equivalent. All runners must bring these items to the race. The actual kit to be carried during the race will be finalised on the day depending on conditions and will be clearly advised at Registration.
Participants should have the means to carry all required kit in case it is needed. Failure to have the required items may lead to denial of entry or disqualification. Random kit checks may be carried out. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
