Hyak Halloween 25k

Snoqualmie Pass, United States • 25 Oct 2025

The Hyak Halloween 25K is a trail running event held at Snoqualmie Pass, Washington, on the ancestral lands of the Snoqualmie Tribe. The 25-kilometer course features a unique route that includes running through the 2.25-mile-long, historic, and eerie Snoqualmie Tunnel twice, just before it closes for winter. The trail combines smooth gravel sections on the Palouse to Cascades Trail with a moderately steep, rooty, and rocky single-track on the Annette Lake Trail, ascending to a scenic alpine lake surrounded by fall colors. With 1,800 feet of elevation gain and two aid stations, the event encourages mindful recreation over competition, welcoming runners of all levels and promoting respectful use of tribal lands. Costumes are encouraged, but must be culturally sensitive and non-gory. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
