Hurricane Hill 5K and 10K Trail Running Race

Hurricane Hill Trail Run takes place in Hartford, Vermont, in the Hartford Town Forest and the Hartford Conservation Area. The event offers trail distances over mixed terrain that includes logging roads, wide packed trails, and single track.

The courses start on a relatively flat logging road and soon reach two short, steep climbs. After those climbs the 5K is mostly downhill. The 10K is a rolling course with about 585 feet of elevation change and a downhill slope for most of the final 1.4 miles. The race start is located about 0.75 miles from the registration and parking area at the Upper Valley Aquatic Center, 100 Arboretum Lane, White River Junction, VT. A bus is available to transport runners to the starting line.

The event is organized by Hartford Parks and Recreation and is part of the Western New Hampshire Trail Running Series; the 10K earns series points and serves as a series qualifier. All racers are eligible for raffle prizes. Online registration is available at PinnacleStrive.com. Pre-registration is accepted through July 16, 2026. Parking and registration are located at the Upper Valley Aquatic Center.
