The Holiday Fun run takes place on December 14, 2025 at Griffith Park in Los Angeles, at the Griffith Park Playground (4800 Crystal Springs Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90027). Distances offered:
- 5k
- 10k
- 15k
- Half marathon
The course is an open, shared trail that uses a hard packed dirt horse trail and a brief street crossing. The start and finish are on a grass area that leads across the street onto the dirt trail. The route will be marked with cones and signs; participants are asked to stay to the right on the shared path and pass on the left. Turnaround points are off to the side of the trail. The 5k is an out-and-back; the 10k is two 5k loops; the 15k is three 5k loops; the half marathon uses a 4.36-mile loop repeated three times.
Logistics and included items
An aid station at the turnaround/start area provides water cups, bottled water, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. Registration includes a custom finisher medal, a drawstring goodie bag, free photos and videos, results posted on the website within 12-24 hours, and an assortment of snacks and samples. Transfers are allowed only by emailing the event organizer; there is a no-refund policy. Parking is in the large lot near the Merry Go Round/Shane's Inspiration playground; enter from Crystal Springs Dr and Fire Rd. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
