Castlewellan is an off-road race organised by Newcastle AC and based at the Life Adventure Centre with routes in Castlewellan Forest Park. The marked course covers 8 km on forest paths and includes 300 m of climb.

The event is the first race in the 2026 Hills and Dales series and takes place on 16 April 2026. Entry periods are listed as opening 20 March 2026 and closing 15 April 2026.
