Meelmore

Meelmore is a mountain race in the Hills and Dales series. The course is approximately 7 km long with about 700 m of climb on open mountain terrain. The route is not marked and the start grid reference is 308 302.

The event is organised by Newcastle AC and is based at Meelmore Lodge with presentation at Kings Inn in Castlewellan. Registration takes place at Meelmore Lodge. Entries are open from 20 March 2026 and close on 13 May 2026. Entry fees are stated as £12 for affiliated runners and £14 for unaffiliated runners. At the time of listing there are 26 participants entered.

Participants must be at least 15 years old on or before 1 January 2026. Race numbers must be attached to the chest for electronic scanning; numbers on shorts may lead to disqualification.
