Course and format

The course is all trail within an enclosed historic park and features rolling hills. The route starts at the park entrance on Griffin Avenue and follows Debs Park trails. Hydration stations are provided at mile 1 and mile 3. The 2K Youth Challenge includes a steady 0.8-mile uphill section followed by a downhill finish and uses narrow, steep trails in places.

Logistics

Packet pick-up is held at the Audubon Center at Debs Park and includes a T-shirt. Event-day parking is available on both sides of Griffin Avenue. Metro access is encouraged; Southwest Station is approximately 600 yards from the venue. Registration for the listed events closes February 20, 2026. The event policy states no refunds.
