Course and logistics

The 2K Youth Hill Challenge includes a steady 0.8-mile uphill trail followed by a downhill finish; organizers note it may be difficult for some children. Packet pickup takes place at the Audubon Center at Debs Park on event day and includes a T-shirt. Event-day parking is available on both sides of Griffin Avenue and Metro access (Southwest Station) is approximately 600 yards from the venue. Starting-line rules require pets on leash to begin at the rear with strollers and parents and advise caution on narrow, steep trails.
