4 Mile Hill Challenge
The 4 Mile Hill Challenge takes place on Saturday February 21, 2026 at the Audubon Center at Debs Park in Los Angeles (4700 Griffin Ave, CA 90031). It is part of the Aztlan Wellness Series and is described as a pet friendly, nature-based event with a green earth celebration.
The course is all trail within an enclosed historic park and features rolling hills. The start and finish are at the Audubon Nature Center, with the route leaving the park entrance on Griffin Avenue and following Debs Park trails. Hydration stations are provided at mile 1 and mile 3. Packet pick up is available at the Audubon Center and includes a T-shirt. Event day parking is located on Griffin Avenue on both sides of the street; Metro access is encouraged, with the Southwest Station located approximately 600 yards from the venue.
The event includes multiple distances:
- 4 Mile Run
- 2K Youth Hill Challenge
The 2K Youth Hill Challenge follows a steady 0.8 mile uphill trail with a downhill finish and may be demanding for some participants. Runners should expect narrow, steep trail sections; pets on leash must start at the back of the field alongside strollers and parents. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
