High Lodge Half Marathon – Autumn

The event is a circular half marathon held at High Lodge, Thetford Forest, Brandon (IP27 0AF). The race distance is 13.1 miles and the course is traffic free and manually timed. Entry fees are listed at approximately £25–£27. The event accepts both affiliated and non-affiliated entries. A cut-off of 3.5 hours applies and the minimum age is 17 years.

Course, services and rules

The route is multi-terrain and well signed, featuring hard-packed sand, grassy footpaths and forest trails. The forest setting includes local wildlife and plant life such as fallow deer and wild thyme. The race is cupless; fresh drinking water is available for refilling bottles. Toilets are provided at the start/finish area. Professional photography will be present and finishers receive a medal; podium trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers. Race numbers are not posted in advance and must be collected at the event.

Participants enter at their own risk. Medical assistance is available during the event but organisers and landowners do not accept liability for injuries.
