High Lodge Half Marathon Autumn

The High Lodge Half Marathon Autumn is a circular half marathon held in Thetford Forest at High Lodge, Brandon, IP27 0AF. The route runs through forest trails and a mix of hard packed sand, grassy footpaths and other multi terrain surfaces, passing areas noted for wildlife such as fallow deer and wild thyme.

The event is traffic free and manually timed. It operates as a cupless race with fresh drinking water available at refill points rather than single use cups. All finishers receive an eco friendly finisher medal and the top three male and top three female finishers receive trophies. Professional photography and toilets at the start and finish are provided.

Entry details published for recent editions list an entry fee of £25 or £27 and a minimum age of 17 years. A 3.5 hour cut off applies to the half marathon. Race numbers are not posted in advance and must be collected at the race start on event day. Participants are required to accept the organiser terms and conditions and enter at their own risk; medical cover is provided but organisers and landowners accept no liability for injuries. Competitors are advised to use appropriate grippy footwear for varied and potentially slippery terrain. TRA permit 6989 applies to the event.
